Come learn about medicinal plants while sipping warm tea and getting your hands in the dirt!

Autumn is a root harvest season on the herb farm. In this workshop, we will explore sustainable and ethical harvesting, plant cultivation through root cuttings, and appropriate medicinal uses for three important medicinal roots: marshmallow, elecampane, and echinacea. We will dig up the plants together, process their roots, enjoy in-depth discussion of each plant’s properties and applications, and make a herbal preparation for you to take home.
